NMTA currently has eight members and meets on the second Thursday of each month at the Faith United Methodist Church at 7:30.

Northwest MTA History

The Northwest Music Teachers Association began in 1983 with the urging of Eloise Halvorson. She then served as the first president once our charter was granted.

We currently have three members and meet on Saturday afternoons monthly. Our students have the opportunity to participate in Rally, Music Festival and Monster concerts. These are enjoyed by participants and parents alike.

Through programs, workshops, and sharing of ideas we seek to enrich our teaching proficiency.
